Simple Stuff Matters

Hi,
thanks to everyone attending my session at the 2007 HDI conference.
Many asked for a copy of the service catalog and I apologize for the delay. 70+ people requested a copy and I felt we need some tool to coordinate the exchange of questions and ideas. Finding a hosting space and the right CMS kept me busy the past days.

Please post any question about the application under THIS topic.
I will monitor the forums and promise to get back to you ASAP. Also, if you come across a question and know the answer, please help a friend and post the answer.

The database requires Access 2003. I haven't tested it with Access 2007.
You will need to modify the replication directory (look for the input box - I highlighted the place in the form-source). Same for the publication directory. For some reason the XML export doesn't look as nice as it once did. There might be something wrong with the line feed. If you come across a solution, please let me know...
The catalog still contains some data, but I recommend purging the SERVICEACTIONLEVELENTITY table. Same for DOCUMENTS (for which I don't have a management form yet - same for some of the lookup tables).
A SQL Server based version is in the making - replication is just too cumbersome. I would appreciate any feedback or suggestion on the application.
